Programs Summary

Our program operates year round: spring, summer, fall and winter. The spring, summer and fall sessions are held at Mohawk Park Golf Course. During the month of July we also use Page Belcher for programing. The winter session is a program taken into area schools exposing The First Tee, the game of golf and life skills, to students during their PE classes.

National School Program

The First Tee of Tulsa is proud to welcome Marshall, Emerson, Burroughs, and Mitchell elementary schools to our National School Program in 2019. If any school in Northeastern Oklahoma would like more information about NSP, or wants to apply for the National School Program, please contact: Janice Gibson at jgibson@thefirstteetulsa.org

The First Tee of Tulsa Leadership Program

The First Tee of Tulsa Leadership Program is a unique program in which we ask our advanced PLAYers to lead stations and help junior PLAYers during class. This allows our older members to develop confidence and leadership skills and for our younger golfers to have a positive role model. A definite win-win for all!

service opportunities

Throughout the year, kids enrolled in The First Tee of Tulsa program have the opportunity to serve others in our community. Recent service projects have included volunteering to pack Saturday grocery bags, prep for pantry, and make kids’ packs at Iron Gate, and making postcards, decorating boxes, and working on other art-related projects at Tristesse Grief Center.
